Setting Out

Your first battle.

-Giving it all up and destroying

Do you want lasting happiness?

Are you ready for something more fufilling?

Do you finally see that happiness comes and goes from situation to situation?

Like riding the waves of the ocean… like waves of life.

Begin to snap your fingers. Repeatedly. Don’t stop. Snap. Because that is how life is. Snap, Snap, Snap and life goes like this. Each snap represents change. You snap. You snap again. Keep snapping.  Realize what you get this with each snap of your fingers= New circumstance, New circumstance, New circumstance, New circumstance. You get the picture. It is ever changing.  It is that fast. Moment to moment goes life. And if your happiness is attached to those waves of circumstance -you go with them. If you try to freeze one of those moments and hold still- you stop with it. You suffer. But not the REAL YOU. YOU don’t stop.

If the happiness ups and downs have really started to make you see that something more needs to be possible in this lifetime, then there is a chance for YOU. A chance at something more permanent. It is the attainment of lasting happiness.

So before you step out on this journey into Awakening in your own life be willing to give it all up.

INSIGHT: Be willing to give it all up.

This includes Everything- your possessions, your loved ones, your career, your attachments, your house, your money and even your life. Realease it ALL and you release YOU.

Will you surrender all of it? Will you give it all up?

Take careful note of your answer. Know that with this giving up- you give up the stepping stones of suffering. Resist the mind’s trick that tricks you into thinking that you will suffer if you give this all up.- if you do this. You don’t need to. That is a choice. Those are your long held limiting beliefs. That is past programming talking to you. That was your conditioning that got you into this battle to destory. Those are other people’s stories. That is Fear.That is your Ego telling you of “reality” which is not real. The suffering need not be real. It is all part of the nightmare. See those things for what they are. See the power they have over you – to hurt you. After you awaken, whether you decide to keep them or not they will have lost their grip over YOU.

Then you will be out of the dream at last! YOU will come out of your fear, your darkness, your unhappiness. You will have destroyed your first nightmare. You have destroyed the capacity for outside things to hurt you. YOU will skip over circumstances. YOU.

This is a key to eternal life.

Keep letting go of Everything and you have a chance to experience this mysterious state of Awakening.

When you hear the call, it’s time to release the nightmare. You are on a your own personal Hero’s Journey at this point. Pour your heart out. Know the truth -that this journey is really a diversion. It’s truly your Ego’s Journey.  The journey is a hallucination just like the nightmare. Still hear the fictional call. Still walk towards it. Gather your senses to realize and discover that it is coming from deep within your soul. It’s not “out-there”.  Your soul makes the call. It takes a willingness to listen. After that, it takes great and vast courage to tolerate the consequences of being yourself. From this point on.

Hearing and answering the call can seem mythical. It’s like a strange pulling of gravity in a space of consciousness. The stars lead the way,  like the planets pulling on you, pointing to you and lining you up just right, to tell you something. To tell you this Universal Truth. In perfect alignment, outwardly setting the stage for this story to happen. The real story of YOU.

The Time is Now. And Now you know. Even though all the while, the call has always been there. Strangely, for some peculiar reason, this time your profound suffering was so great or your heart so completely open- you could finally listen.  You had to. And even more so, you could finally hear it too. Check the shoes your are wearing, they will give the details of how you got here. Those are the details of the unfolding, of your long lost listening ability. You are ready to heed the call.

First, it comes as a powerful whisper, with your name on it. You’re startled. You feel a undescribeable tenderness of breath right in your ear, even as you whisk it away. You pull back. You have refused before. Only now you have returned wth your tortured soul. A soul so armored. Dressed with the layers upon layers of unnecessary. The protective coating and armor of Fear, fears, the past. It holds heavy, like chains. You know this egoish metal arms your heart. It’s there. You are on the other side. Your there. Because of this, there is only one thing to do and it requires nothing. Let go. Simply let go. If it is a journey you are wishing to help you, then YOU The Hero will therefore journey. You will by choice. And you carry this armor on this journey to be shed. Scattered. Left-behind. For the choice to take it with you ensures that there will be many traps, obstacles, decisions that need to be made. As you peel off these barricades…You will learn much. You will un-learn much. Take heart, worry not, because by the end of this man-made adventure you will arrive at the same gate from which you started. Yes, the same one. Seeing it from the other side. Mystical.

Stand tall for I know you have been forewarned of things. You have been cautioned. You have been told of The Dragon. The others have told you he waits for you just outside the gate. The also talk of The Dark Night. They have returned with grim faces full of immense fear. They have run back. They have retreated. Before you take afoot, know full well, that this journey will get you there- to that gate, to that Dragon. Perhaps even through The Dark Night itself. You will be different though. You are setting your sights on Awakening. Therefore, you will be there….  Naked. Bare. Vulnerable. Posessionless. Un-armed. YOU. As The Hero. The Dragon will reveal itself and you will see clearly then. There is nothing that you can not handle. TRUST.

Do you want to be awake?

Do you want to hear the call?

Touch the innate response rising from your chest. What is it? Can you name it? Or is it just -A knowing. Something like blind knowledge. A common place from where you drink. I bet it is a knowing, unknown to you. It’s a deep undercurrent within. So grow silent with it. Listen. Resonate. Then remember the call, the pounding of your heart.

Before you step out on this path to Awakening, fitted, ready and with your painted war-face. You must ASK this; Who would you give the job of Awakening to? There is only one answer for your already Awake soul- your Ego. This is why it is TRULY your Ego’s Journey. You are here untangling the thread. Untangling the mystery. Untangling YOU.

What if by chance you dropped all your defenses right here and allow The Revelation? Can you imagine!? Visualize an episode before you… where you see the ruins of this unnecessary war and your hard fought journey’s completion. The end. BUT,…what if… now…. could you, right here, right NOW, at the ringing of the bell? Could you? Hold for a moment. Take it in. Take in this new awareness. Pause. Because very quickly, your Ego will be back in warrior-formation, ready for you. Ready to “protect” you. Ready to guard against nothing to guard against. Then tiring itself “for you”, to do the planning and strategizing for the journey. It will seemingly grow stronger and follow up  with more for this journey. Endless senerios and fully thought-out details, complete with a strategic war planning session on itself and the unfortunate others out there. From all angles it devours thought. However, not from all possible perspectives. You have an alternative here before coming to the forks in the road. Remember that buried, previously-impossible option will be missing. Know that- it IS possible. Even for YOU. Let this insight shift you, take you. You are aware of this now.  You cannot pretend you don’t know. You have been handed the map. You “get” where it leads. You have an understanding. You know full well who you are giving this journey to. Your Ego. It’s its Journey. Your soul follows along with heavy, unwanted, suffocating armor. There is no going back if you just dropped right there.  We cannot retract that awareness. No need to retrace steps. Hold this in the light for a moment. Lift your hands with it to the sun rising in the East. Breathe. See. See that you can. You can…say YES to this call. You can… say YES to your life. You can…say YES to this journey. You can …say YES to Awakening.

Step forth into this world of total and utter non-attachment. Take one step at a time if you feel pushed to. Breathe. And breathe again. Tread softly. Go slowly. It IS really where your True life is at.  Surely, as you have already by this point begun to see a great need to detach from the outer world and most importantly thoughts. The good, the bad, …All of it. Purification of your mind on this journey will be vital to SEE clearly. Let it be your sacred ritual to make use of. Purify. Get clear. Carry this magic powder along, strapped to your side. It’s obvious to you that you know you need to see clearly to walk ahead. You have already been drained from all the thinking going on! You are already fatigued by the endless thinking that has held your feelings hostage..or worse- where it has all led. You seek rest. We have truthfully told you that the journey and doingness to this place of rest, does not bring the rest and inner peace you long for. Even this attachment to a path is a disappointing road that brought you hear to journey in the first place. You long to find this promise land. A land of no wars, no kings, no queens – only souls. It may seem like a land so far away……… yet you have heard it is so close. It is so close. Closer than you can imagine. Let the Truth be told that this is a No-path path.

You have gathered from ancient stories and wisdom. You believe it credible since most are well documented and well written about. You hope that this is all very possible -even for you. Not a figment of your imagination. Not a lofty day-dream your lost in. You may have further evidence of its existence, you may have heard of someone alive and successful in this lifetime. You may have even met someone living who has it. Who is. Being it. It can be inspirational to you. For they represent to you someone who has conquered The Fear. Someone who is fully Awake and simultaneously living with a wide open heart. Actually living. 

Ahhhh. Living….It makes you yearn for the last piece of this last puzzle to fall into place for you. You beg to see the whole picture. Thus, then this incredible journey becomes worth taking- For YOU. Go then. We go with you to point the way. YOU go with you.
