So Sonya, things were really cool for a while and now I hit a curb of bad luck. It’s a terrible funk. I keep telling all my friends the crap that keeps happening to me. I am so glad they understand. I hope I get some good luck soon. I wonder if Prince Charming will show up in my life next year and give me a good life. I can’t wait to be happy again.

Questions:

Do you have the courage to look at yourself? Have you done an inventory of yourself lately?

Do you have the courage to live your dreams?

What will it take? Do you need to ask for help? Ask for help when you need it. Do you need to be willing?

Do you need to let go of the past?  You can let go of the past. Use what you have learned.  Learn to express yourself. Learn to focus on you. Choose the right attitude. Fill your own emotional needs.  No more comparisons. Stop trying to manipulate. Forgive those poor souls. Are any of your problems from your own doing? Take responsibility. Guard yourself against negativity. Follow your own conscience. What are your needs? Do you consider your own welfare when making decisions? You are responsible for that. Sort yourself out here. Don’t worry about “them”.  Keep moving forward and growing. Set realistic goals. Attend meetings. Don’t take on too many things at once. Realize that you are human and some change IS hard to accept. Do you know how to detach? Learn to say those 3 important words. (I love you.) Do you try to avoid doubt, once having made a decision?

No time?

Have you been feeling like there is just no time  to do all the things you want to do? How did we get so busy?

Recently, I had an assignment to complete a record of how I spent each hour of my day. This is a huge task but there was some great awareness there on how I was spending my day. Too much of my time was spent in an office doing work I did not love. Not enough time was spent investing in me. Now, even with all the newly added free time and no office job, I can find my day slipping by and the same complaint of “not enough time” re-occurring.  How can this be you wonder? Here is a great tool to use that has helped me get things done and carve out time for things that matter.

Tool: Use affirmations.

Here are a few quick affirmations to help you invite in time and space for things that matter.  This is a great way of making time appear.

Start your day off with: “I will have time for myself today.” or “I will have time to do this today.”

End your evening with a thank you and in appreciation. This is to recognize the time that did show up for you so that more can come forth.

End your day with: “Thank you for the time to myself today.”  Or “Thank you for the time I had to do this today.”

Using these affirmations will really shift your energy into a positive vibration for more “you time” to happen. It worked for me.
